What are groups?

Groups are named lists of contacts you create to segment your audience. Use groups to organize contacts by intent, stage, product interest, or any other criteria that matters to your business. Once contacts are in a group, you can target that group in funnel workflow nodes — for example, automatically adding leads who complete a step to a specific group for follow-up.

Creating a group

1

Go to Groups

Navigate to CRM → Groups.
2

Click New group

Select New group in the toolbar.
3

Name your group

Enter a descriptive name. You can also add an optional description to clarify the group’s purpose for your team.
4

Save

Click Create group. The group appears in your groups table and is ready to receive members.

Adding contacts to a group

You can add contacts to a group in two ways:
  1. Go to CRM → People.
  2. Select one or more contacts using the row checkboxes.
  3. In the bulk action bar at the bottom of the screen, choose Assign to group.
  4. Select the target group and confirm.
All selected contacts are added to the group in one action.
Contacts can belong to multiple groups. Adding a contact to a new group does not remove them from any existing groups.

Viewing group members

Click any group in the CRM → Groups table to open the group detail page. The members list shows every contact currently in the group, with the same search and column options available in the main contacts table.

Using groups in funnel workflows

Groups integrate directly with your funnel workflow builder. The Add to Group action node lets you automatically add a contact to a group when they reach a specific point in your funnel — for example, after submitting an opt-in form or completing a checkout step.
Combine the Add to Group node with other workflow actions (such as sending a notification or triggering a follow-up sequence) to build automated nurture flows tied to group membership.

Deleting a group

To delete a group, open the group’s detail page or find it in the groups table and select Delete from the actions menu. Confirm the deletion in the prompt that appears.
Deleting a group removes the group and all its membership records. The contacts themselves are not deleted — they remain in your CRM. This action cannot be undone.
